Love this podcast & don’t always agree. It saddens me to see that most seem to think it’s okay for Palestinians to commit open genocide against Israel in the most brutal & cruel manner possible & yet they aren’t allowed to defend themselves or their children & families. The youngest Israeli victim was only nine months old. What would this be called if that nine month old were your child? If the beaten & battered women gang raped repeatedly until they died from it were your wives? If the elderly holocaust victims who raised the anthem, Never Again, then lived to see the Nightmare of Again, were your parents? Would it still be okay & would you be rushing to defend the cruel inhumane Palestinians who did this & cry for their not being treated like royalty by Israel? Or the United States, thank God we had the courage to stand on the right side without question for Israel in such a horrendous mass murder in which Americans were victims too. On this matter I staunchly disagree with the host. And I’m not sure about his polling as I don’t know one single Democrat or Republican whom Agrees with him. Not one whom does not find his opinion on this particular matter, though loved on others but on this matter, disgustingly cold & as brutal as the crime itself. This is a heck of a matter to stand on the wrong side of humanity & I find it sorely disappointing.

Thank you for lighting a candle in the darkness for me & friends I recommended this podcast to! ❤️‍🩹 My only caveat would be that several minutes in a row of advertising & recommendations for other shows (Banned Camp) negatively cuts into the otherwise good experience. This podcast is an excellent counterbalance to all the bad news that permeates every aspect of life in a would-be authoritarian state. It helps me stay energized for the fight.

So refreshing, thanks. One of the best parts of if I get distracted and miss a bit, I can distinguish which party won the ruling, I know it was the side I supported, cause this is good news for us lefties, progressives & America.

I needed to find good news instead of doom scrolling immediately after waking up. I was born with an Eeyore personality and our current political BS was interfering with my plan to be more like Piglet & Pooh-happy and curious! I now start every day with this news podcast which has a lot of good stories you’ll never hear on regular news or podcasts. I’m not Piglet yet but it helps!

UPDATED; I’m now listening for my second week & download all your content as I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the takeaways… BUT Wendy King’s over-exaggerated & SLOOOOW ENUNCIATION is tough to listen to. Speeding up her episode helped make it less cringey. Not trying to be ugly but it seriously feels like she’s teaching a 4th grade public speaking class, the way she reads her copy.… She’s obviously got great grammar, but please Wendy, you mispronounced CONSORT (at least I THINK that was the Copy intended as it makes much more sense than CONCERT. I’m a pro Copywriter, former editor in chief of an intl magazine, & have put in my time on the air, live, for PBS pledge weeks , for 30+ years along with voiceovers, etc. y’all really have a great podcast, but I do get annoyed and can’t help but point it out when you have an occasional slip… As you’re generally super top notch! But , as OPRAH says, when you know better, you do better, right? I appreciate corrections whenever someone sees a slip up of mine. Keep on doing the great work as you are literally the brightest part of my day now. So many of us appreciate the reprieve from “Trump TV“ we are assaulted with Daily at the rate of a machine gun!! 🙏 🤦🏻‍♀️🫶🏽 So keep up the great work. Our democracy may survive after all. EXCUSE HASTE …

So far I have listened to some of the under-15-minutes episodes. But have yet to dive into the hour-plus format shows, which I will try. I love the format of the shorter shows. Interesting, informative, and succinct. To the show creators: Do you realize you have labeled the entire show as containing Explicit Content when that is not the case? The shorter (regular?) version does not contain any language or content that I found to be explicit.* *You can label individual episodes with the small “E” if need be. The bad news of the day has me DOWN. This podcast helps me see some light, and the old-timey newscaster voice takes me back to a simpler time. Highly recommend.

I LOVE this podcast. For me it is part of my overall mental health support to listen to it every day. It’s upbeat energy helps lighten my morning. Love the bells between each story. Members stories are also awesome! Give a listen and you won’t be sorry, especially if you are feeling nothing good happens in America anymore- that’s not true!
