In this episode of Good News for Lefties, host Wendy King brings you a series of inspiring stories that highlight resilience and positive change in the face of adversity.

Governor Josh Shapiro emphasizes the growing momentum for Democrats as they prepare for the upcoming midterms.
We then turn to a ruling from the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals that blocks a right-wing group's attempt to access Wisconsin's voter registration lists, affirming the integrity of the state's election processes.
In a heartwarming story from Oregon, Mad Cow Brewing Company launches a special beer called Firehouse Wit, with proceeds going to support local wildfire relief efforts and honor the bravery of firefighters in Oregon.
Then, we share a listener-suggested story about Joey Co, a startup that pairs college students with aging homeowners, creating mutually beneficial living arrangements that address both youth housing needs and elder care.
